Arun graduated with honours in mechanical engineering from Mumbai University in 1974 and has postgraduate qualifications in Human Resource Management and Training and Development. He is a Fellow – Professional Member- of “ SUMEDHAS” Academy for Human Context. He is visiting faculty in areas of Organizational Behavior, OD and Change at Narsee Monji Institute of Management Studies and Xavier Institute of Management, Mumbai. He is an approved guide for interns of ISTD PG diploma.
Arun has played different roles that of a Trainer / Internal Partner/Core Team Member / Facilitator / Coach / Change Agent during various initiatives like, organizational cultural transformation, organizational restructuring/introducing performance management system/assessment center, rejuvenating quality circle movement, improving communication, etc. in organizations, His varied interests have culminated in conducting programs in technical and behavioral areas. Graduate of the National Defense Academy, Khadakwasla. Commissioned in the Indian Navy in 1983 and thereafter specialized in Submarines in 1984. Has served in a number of Submarines in various capacities. Commissioning Navigating Officer of the first Indian built submarine INS Shalki. He retired from the Indian Navy as a Commander in 2004 after 22 years service.
He has 21 years experience in operations and HRD related functions of the Indian Navy at various levels, including manpower planning and training. Has trained a number of officers and sailors for various operations related functions. Also has extensive experience regarding performance appraisal and monitoring functions.
Having gained extensive first had knowledge and experience in handling diverse teams in the Indian Navy and other Government organizations and ministries he conducts Outdoor Experiential learning for managers at various levels. He is a lead Outbound Training Consultant with Adecco People-one a Zurich based Company and a world leader in HR, Training and recruitment. |

These are experienced mountaineers, rock climbers and trekkers who set up all outdoor exercises and take care of safety measures.
